Tender mailing list - register of interest
How to register interest in supplying the Council
The Council uses the South East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership Business Portal (SEBP) as its preferred method of sharing information about forthcoming tendering opportunities and existing contracts. The Portal covers the 74 councils of the South East region and therefore offers Suppliers the opportunity to connect with a wide range of potential customers.
The Portal offers suppliers the opportunity to:
Register (Free of Charge) as a potential supplier for council opportunities
Register against their category of expertise*
Receive an automated email alert of tender opportunities (by council, local or regional)
Register against specific opportunities as they are advertised
Search the Contracts Store - view full contract details by all councils, individual council, category* of goods and services or by contract title
Download selected information into spreadsheet format
Provide feedback via the on-line feedback form
*Categories use the ProClass system (this is an external hyperlink)
Registration on the Portal or a specific opportunity will ensure that your company is included in the council's pre-qualification selection process for specific tenders. Registration via the Portal does not guarantee that you will be invited to tender.
Similarly e-mail notification of a new opportunity is a prompt for you to decide whether to register your interest or not for that particular tender. It does not automatically include your company in the process. If you are not registered you could miss out on council opportunities.
Additional functionality is available to council officers including the ability to upload pertinent documents for forthcoming opportunities and, post tender award, contract documents can be stored in the secure area of the Portal. This area is password protected and requires officers to register and log-in before use.
