Tourism and Visitor Services

The Economic Development and Regeneration team, working in partnership with Portsmouth and Hampshire local authorities, Tourism South East, the attractions and other tourism related businesses undertakes a rolling campaign to promote Gosport both nationally and internationally as a tourist and visitor destination. It also works with those partners and others to enhance Gosport as a destination for residents and their visitors.

This destination management and visitor information services work includes:

• Attracting visitors to Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent
• Marketing Gosport as a visitor destination
• Hosting familiarisation visits for travel trade journalists and group travel organisers
• Maintaining the Discover Gosport website
• Producing an annual visitor guide and other publications
