Transport Assessment

In order to meet the tests of "soundness" local authorities must demonstrate that development proposals as set out in their Local Plans are capable of being delivered, and not having an unacceptable impact on the Strategic Road Network (SRN).

The Council commissioned SYSTRA to undertake an assessment of proposals in the Gosport Borough Local Plan (2011-2029) using the Sub Regional Transport Model Suite (SRTM) developed for Transport for South Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

This model replaces transport assessments undertaken by Peter Brett Associates in 2009 and 2010.
