To Homes for Ukraine hosts
1. Thank you for offering to host a Ukrainian / family. Your kindness has been critical to offering a safe base from which people who have already suffered hugely can begin to create a more stable life and make plans for their future.
  
  Inviting strangers from a different culture into your home can be a rewarding and refreshing experience. For some, it can also come with its challenges. We would like to get some insight into your situation, to make sure we can identify any support that may be needed, and also learn what has worked well.
  
  We would be grateful if you could answer the following questions by updating the below form with your responses. If you have any concerns currently, please email emma.vanson@gosport.gov.uk, putting the word URGENT in the email subject if your concerns are immediate.
2. Is the Ukrainian family you are hosting in a self-contained property, or do you share bathrooms and kitchen?*
3. Who lives with you in your own family and what are their ages? Full names aren’t needed, it just gives us an idea of what your household is like*
4. Have you been able to help your Ukrainians to fill out forms to access services such as schools, banks, GPs and benefits?*
5. Have you been able to show your Ukrainians around the local area?*
6. Do you have information of the Ukraine support groups that meet up in the Borough?*
7. Have you been able to give your Ukrainians access to the internet so they can communicate with their family members in Ukraine?*
8. Do you have a written agreement in place with them that makes it clear what is expected of them and you?*
9. Do you have any challenges with communicating with the Ukrainians who are staying with you?*
10. Will you be looking to extend the initial 6 month period for them to stay with you?*
11. What advice would you give to someone putting their name down as a future host?*
