Gosport's 2024 local election results

The results of the Gosport Borough Council elections on Thursday 2 May have been announced following a count at Gosport Leisure Centre.

In total, 15 seats were up for election this year; one seat in each of the council's 14 wards, with the exception of Lee West where both seats were up.

The political make-up of the council is now: 15 Liberal Democrat, 10 Conservative, 2 Labour, 1 Vacancy.

The results mean the Liberal Democrats retain overall control of Gosport Borough Council.

There are 28 seats on Gosport Borough Council. Prior to the election the council comprised:

•            Liberal Democrat - 16

•            Conservative - 9

•            Labour - 2

•            Vacant - 1
