Gosport Employment and Skills Partnership
The Gosport Employment and Skills Partnership is a network of employment support, training and education providers/organisations based or operating in Gosport that offer services to both residents and businesses.
It was established in 2009 with the aim of improving the skills and employment opportunities of Gosport residents, particularly those who find it the hardest to find or stay in work.
In addition to sharing local intelligence, best practice and expertise, members also contribute to the:
- Co-ordinated delivery of employment and skills initiatives for residents;
- Staging of the annual Gosport Employment and Skills Partnership
- Recruitment and workforce development support for Gosport based employers i.e. "Gosport's Employer Offer"
- Support available to developers and other organisations required to deliver Section 106 Employment and Training Plans (PDF) [355KB] in Gosport and on the Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus
