Who are we?

DART (Decorating and Repair Team), are part of GVA (Gosport Voluntary Action).

The service has been set up in response to Borough residents concerns about finding reliable workmen to carry out small jobs about the house.

What are our aims?

We aim to assist our customers to remain in their homes in a reasonable degree of comfort and security by providing a low-cost repair service.

Who qualifies for help?

Any resident who is unable to attend to the work themselves, that are older/vulnerable or registered disabled.

How can we help?

Any odd job such as:

• putting up shelves and curtain rails,
• replacing tap washers;
• installing grab rails
• inside painting and decorating
• building flat pack

What isn't covered?

Any repairs to gas or electrical appliances, erecting fences, work on roofs or a removal service.

How much?

£8.40 per hour, plus an Administration fee is charged for each month that the service is used at £10.00 per month.
