Important information to consider if an Enforcement Agent calls at your property

Enforcement Agents instructed to collect Council Tax or Business Rates will always wear identification and supply you with documentation relating to the outstanding charge.

The Local Taxation Section currently uses Ross & Roberts, Rossendales and Bristow & Sutor.

Enforcement Agents instructed by Gosport Borough Council issue a Compliance Notice when they are instructed to collect Council Tax or Business Rates.

It is recommended that you contact them upon receipt of this notice in order to discuss payment, a fee of £75.00 is charged at this stage.

Should it become necessary for the Enforcement Agent to make a visit, further fees become payable.
