Results of Gosport Borough Council elections

The results of the Gosport Borough Council elections on Thursday 6 May have been announced following a count at Gosport Leisure Centre today (Saturday 8 May).

The political make-up of the council is now: Conservative 19, Liberal Democrats 14 and Labour 1.

Every two years, half the seats on the council come up for election.

Before the election the make-up of seats on the council was: Conservative 18, Liberal Democrats 14 and Labour 2.
