Household Support Fund (HSF) 2024/25 - Tranche 5

The Department for Work and Pensions has provided a further grant through the Household Support Fund, for the period April 2024 to September 2024.

DWP

The Household Support Fund is a scheme funded by the UK government to help those most in need and to support with the increase in living costs.

For this round of funding, support is being allocated directly to eligible households in the form of a supermarket voucher. There is no need to apply and vouchers will be issued as  follows:-

  • £40 supermarket voucher for those in receipt of Housing Benefit only (and not Council Tax Support), or
  • £25 supermarket voucher for those in receipt of Council Tax Support or combination of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support

Who will get a voucher?

To qualify for a voucher, you must have been getting Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Support on 1 April 2024. This criteria has been set by Hampshire County Council.
As this limited amount of funding has been spent, no additional vouchers can be issued.

When will I receive a voucher?

Vouchers expect to be posted out mid-July.
If you qualify for a voucher, you should receive this in the post by 31 July 2024.

Questions?

How much is my voucher worth?
You will receive either a £25 or £40 ASDA voucher.

?     Does the voucher have to be used in one go?
No, it can be partially redeemed and then used the next time you shop.

?     How long is my voucher valid for?
Your ASDA voucher is valid for a full 2 years

Vouchers can only be redeemed at an ASDA supermarket. We have selected ASDA due to their being 2 stores in the Gosport area.

!         Vouchers cannot be used in petrol stations or to purchase tobacco products, stamps, lottery or phone top-ups

Mental Wellbeing

Mental Wellbeing Hampshire is a partnership of organisations working to support good mental health and wellbeing in our communities.

There are benefits for everyone if we stay fit and healthy. Healthy people generally have a better quality of life, more independence, are able to make their own choices, and take an active part in their community.

Hampshire County Council's strategy outlines how we want to deliver improved health and wellbeing outcomes for everyone in Hampshire, driven by individual choice and with less dependency on health and social care provision.
