GBC Heritage Fund

The Heritage Fund, which is for the enhancement of local built and cultural heritage, is composed of Council funding and is part of the Heritage Action Zone legacy. Applications are  assessed at the Council's Grants Sub-Board on a quarterly basis. Projects must be within the Borough and other conditions apply. 

Please note the Heritage Fund guidance and application form have been updated. Only the latest version of the application form will be accepted for consideration  by the Grants Sub Board.  Any queries can be emailed to the Grants  Officer at GBCgrants@gosport.gov.uk

Grants are for local organisations and businesses to improve the built and cultural heritage in the Borough. Grants are available for up to £50,000, as well as Development Grants of up to £5,000 to assist in putting bids together.

The funds are open all year round for applicants to submit Expressions of Interest and full applications. Please see the Council's webpage and guidance for more information on how to apply.

Please note that the submission date is in advance of the board meeting to allow sufficient time for bids to be properly assessed and compiled into a report for circulation to Council officers and members. Bids submitted after the submission deadline may be considered for the following board meeting.
