Key dates and deadlines for voters at this election:

• Thursday 17 October 2024 - poll cards delivery starts
• Tuesday 05 November 2024 - register to vote by 11:59pm if you're not already registered
• Wednesday 06 November 2024 - 5:00pm deadline to submit completed application to vote by post or postal proxy
• Thursday 07 November 2024  - postal votes (1st batch) issued ~ all Postal Vote applications received and determined before 4:00pm on Thursday 24 October 2024 will be included in this issue
• Wednesday 13 November 2024 - 5:00pm deadline to submit completed application to vote by appointing a proxy
• Wednesday 13 November 2024 - 5:00pm deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate ~ if you vote in a Polling Station and do not have one of the acceptable forms of photographic identification
• Wednesday 13 November 2024 - postal votes (2nd and final batch) issued ~ all Postal Vote applications received and determined between 9:00am on Friday 25 October and 5:00pm on Wednesday 06 November 2024 will be included in this issue
• Friday 15 November 2024 - first day to issue replacement lost and spoilt postal vote packs
• Thursday 21 November 2024 - Polling Day (Polling stations open from 7:00am until 10:00pm)
• Thursday 21 November 2024 - last chance to replace lost or spoilt postal votes is 5:00pm
• Thursday 21 November 2024 - last chance to apply for an emergency proxy vote is 5:00pm (conditions apply)
