We are open on Mondays & Tuesdays from 9am to 5pm. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 10am to 2pm for essential pre-booked appointments and payments at the cashiers' desk. Please note the cashiers' desk will close at 4:45pm on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Face coverings must be worn unless you are medically exempt and customers must sanitise their hands upon entry to the Town Hall.

Appointments can be booked by telephone (see below) and access to the Town Hall will be available from the High Street entrance only.

By Train:

The nearest station is Portsmouth Harbour (not Portsmouth and Southsea). The Gosport Passenger Ferry is 90 metres approx. from the station entrance and offers a frequent (quarter hourly) service. Gosport Town Hall may be approached from High Street and is a short walk (approximately 800 metres) from the Ferry Terminal. Taxis and buses are also usually available.

By Car

From M27
Leave the M27 at Junction 11 and join the A27, signposted Fareham.
At the second junction join the A32, signposted Gosport.
Continue on this road for approximately five miles into Gosport.
Pass the ferry and continue round into South Street where there is ample car parking in the vicinity of the Town Hall.

From M3

Leave the M3 Junction 14 and join the M27. Follow the directions above.
