Gosport Park
Gosport Park was designed and laid out in 1887 following the purchase of the land known as Ewer Common for £100.00. 'The Park' as it was known at the time was finished an officially opened in 1891 by Colonel C. Mumby. The layout of the park was very similar to that that exists today with avenues of mature trees and views to the Spinnaker Tower.
There are 6 entrance gates all accessed off level pathways and roads and a car park accessed from Crossland Close.
Gosport Park hosts sports and play activities with six rugby pitches, a bowling green, play area and outdoor basketball court.
