Gosport Splash Park

This Splash Park will close for the winter from 19.00 on Sunday 29^th September 2024. It will re-open in the spring of 2025.

Water features operate in summer only (weather permitting) and may be switched off for short periods during opening hours whilst regular water quality treatment works are undertaken.

Gosport Splash Park has been designed and provided by Gosport Borough Council as a free outside play facility with traditional all year round play equipment and water features which are open in the Summer only.

Located on the sea front at Stokes Bay there are public pay and display car parks adjacent and nearby public toilet facilities within approx. 128 metres.

The water used at the Splash Park is monitored, cleaned and treated daily and it may be necessary on some days to switch the water features off for a short period to undertake these regular works. Notices will be erected when such works are in progress.

The Splash Park is inspected regularly each day but if you do need to report any problems please contact 08000 198598 or streetscene@gosport.gov.uk.

The Splash Park has been provided for children aged 8 years and under  some equipment is not suitable for all ages and this is made clear by signs on the equipment.

Children using the Splash Park must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. All persons use the facility at their own risk.

Children must wear appropriate swimwear and younger children swim nappies.

Appropriate waterproof dressings should be applied to cuts, grazes or verruca's and appropriate sun protection used.

To protect the health and safety of all users the following are not permitted in the Splash Park:-

• Dogs
• Bicycles
• Skateboards
• Scooters
• Rollerblades
• Glass
• Alcohol
• Water Bombs
• Climbing on Rocks
• Litter/Food Debris
• Balls

Bicycle Stands are provided adjacent to the Splash Park and litter bins are provided within and adjacent to the Splash Park.
